Though it was several months back, we thought we'd just throw these Easter pictures out here on the blog. This was up at Ginger's Mother's house on Easter morning. Scarlet got some new toys that she had fun playing with right away. And then after church her cousin Logan enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and had a little photo session with Scarlet. Then, surprise surprise - "Spiderman" showed up! :)
On Sunday, June 1st, 2008, Scarlet had her first birthday party at her house. It was a fun "Garden Party" in her own backyard. There were many good eats and drinks on the patio and lots of oh-so-fun swimming in the pool! Scarlet was a little sleepy and hot (as it was in the high 90's that day), so she was a little confused about what to do with that big white birthday cake. But she had fun opening her gifts and riding in her new pink car! Scarlet says THANK YOU to everyone that came and hopes to see them again soon! A special thank you to Aunt Amy for flying down to make her first birthday party so very special!!

Back in May, my dad and stepmom came for a visit and to help with a house project. Although they dont live very far, Scarlet hasn't spent a lot of time with this set of grandparents. While I was helping with the project, Grandma Sharon entertained Scarlet. Heres some pictures of that day. NOTE: Scarlet had been up from a nap for about 30 mins so she wasnt sleepy......
